They say it was 30 degrees in Hamilton, Ontario today with a humidex of 41 degrees.  Now when I was out today at the beach, it felt like it was hotter than 30 degrees Celsius.  For the Fahrenheit folks, the temperature in Hamilton was 86 degrees with a humidex of 104 degrees.  Now that is more like it.  It certainly felt like 104 degrees.

And Hamilton beach was well populated with people in the lake, sunning on the beach and cooling at the splash-pad.  

We set up This Great City Van in a well treed area to stay cool.  And what an excellent time it was.  For me, it was my first time go-karting.  It was intense, it was competitive and it was a lot of fun.  Thank you to everyone that came from as far away as Brantford and Burlington.
