Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Vegetarian Food Fair is back for its 24th annual celebration, inviting the community to enjoy an afternoon of incredible food, family fun, and healthy living on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Held outdoors at the Hamilton Mountain Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 284 Concession Street, Hamilton, this much-loved community event has become a summertime tradition for families and food lovers from across Southern Ontario.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore more than 30 food vendors serving an exciting variety of delicious vegetarian and vegan cuisine. From hearty comfort foods and international specialties to fresh baked treats and refreshing beverages, there’s something to satisfy every appetite. Whether you’re a lifelong vegetarian, vegan, or simply curious about adding more plant-based meals to your lifestyle, you’ll discover just how flavorful and satisfying healthy eating can be.

The Hamilton Vegetarian Food Fair is designed with the whole family in mind. Children can enjoy fun activities, while guests of all ages can relax under the big tent, enjoy live music, browse community displays, and connect with local organizations that promote health, wellness, and positive living. Throughout the day, visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about healthy lifestyles and discover practical resources for living well.

This event is about much more than great food—it’s a celebration of community, compassion, and coming together to make a positive difference.

This year, we’re also inviting everyone to help support our neighbours in need by bringing a non-perishable food donation for the local food bank. Every contribution, big or small, will help provide meals for individuals and families throughout our community.
